Land Acknowledgment
PEAC and our community work on the traditional, ceremonial, and unceded territories of Indigenous Peoples throughout Turtle Island. We offer our gratitude and respect to the generations who have stewarded these lands and acknowledge our responsibilities as uninvited guests.
We are dedicated to integrating the principles of truth and reconciliation into our work. This acknowledgement is a part of our ongoing commitment to listen, learn, and build stronger relationships with the Indigenous communities we serve as we work to foster greater equity for all.
Accountability is a vital part of this work. Should we cause harm through our words or actions, we invite you to connect with us. We promise to listen, learn, and take the necessary steps to improve and prevent future harm in our shared pursuit of inclusion and equity.
