Meet the Staff and Board of Directors

PEAC’s team has four dedicated part-time staff and six committed volunteer Board Directors who contribute a mix of competencies and experience to the governance of the organization.

Board Governance and Mandate: The Board of Directors governs PEAC, with its authority defined by the organization’s Bylaws. Directors are bound by a Code of Conduct and guided by PEAC’s Strategic Priorities. The Board’s primary responsibilities include providing oversight for all organizational operations and holding the Executive Director accountable for the management of the Corporation.

Recruitment and Composition: The Governance Committee manages the recruitment process to fill board vacancies, guided by a composition matrix. Potential Directors may be identified through direct outreach, self-nomination, or a formal call for applications.
