Physiotherapy Education Accreditation Canada (“PEAC”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization, is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. Personal information is any information that can be used to identify an individual, such as their name, home address, email address, telephone number, or date of birth. Identifying personal information could depend on the context, circumstances, or how the information is combined.

You acknowledge that we are not responsible for the availability of or the materials available on or through any External Sites. 2. Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell, rent or disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described below or as required/permitted by applicable law.
- Service Providers: Your personal information may be made available to third parties that provide services to us or on our behalf. We use third parties for services such as information technology, marketing, payment card processing, and employment recruitment. Our service providers are only provided with information necessary to perform their functions.
- Legal and Compliance: We and our service providers may disclose your personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to another organization for the purposes of investigating a breach or a fraud, or as otherwise may be required or permitted by applicable law. - Reorganization of Structure: We may transfer your information as part of PEAC asset in connection with a corporate reorganization involving all or part of PEAC or a change in corporate control.

We have implemented commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures in an effort to safeguard the personal information under our control against theft, loss and unauthorized access, use, and disclosure.
Access to personal information is limited to authorized persons fulfilling obligations or providing services on a “need-to-know” basis.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the identified purposes as permitted and/or required by applicable law. Your Information collected by PEAC will be stored in Canada.

If you have provided consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of personal information, you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, subject to our legal or contractual restrictions. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide certain services to you.
If you receive our news or information communications by email, you can unsubscribe any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of the email, by writing to us at adminassist@peac-aepc.ca, or otherwise by contacting us. If you unsubscribe, you may continue to receive transactional or account-related communications from us.
To close your account or request to delete the personal information contained within your account profile, please contact us. If you choose to close your account or delete personal information contained within your account profile, we may retain certain information to meet our legal or regulatory obligations.
Subject to exceptions under applicable law, you have the right to request access to, or correction of, your personal information held by us. You may make such requests by contacting us. We may request certain personal information from you to verify your identity for the purpose of responding to your requests.
