Jessica Pilon-Bignell

Since graduating from McMaster University’s Master of Physical Therapy program in 2011, Jessica has built a distinguished career marked by clinical expertise and leadership. At Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS), she gained extensive experience in acute and outpatient care while collaborating with healthcare leaders as an active member of the Physiotherapy Practice Council.

Jessica’s commitment to education is highlighted by her five years as a Clinical Adjunct at McMaster University. In this capacity, she took on diverse roles within the Master of Physical Therapy program, serving as a Clinical Instructor, Research and Evidence-Based Practice Supervisor, and a leader for Problem-Based Learning tutorials.

Demonstrating a strong commitment to professional development, Jessica has a proven track record of successful mentorships and currently serves as a Practice Enhancement Coach for the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Her leadership in quality assurance is evidenced by her role in leading the Spine Unit’s accreditation at HHS in 2019 and her active participation in the physiotherapy program’s accreditation at McMaster University in 2021. Jessica brought her expertise to the PEAC team in the autumn of 2024.
