Megan Ogle

Megan Ogle holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. Her master’s thesis focused on the development of a surrogate neck model to be used in sport helmet certification testing. A more accurate neck model for sport helmet certification allows future researchers to develop helmets that reduce the probability of concussion injuries.

Upon completion of her Master of Science degree, Megan gained experience in the workforce as a Quality Assurance Associate/Project Coordinator for a medical device packaging company and as a Mechanical Fluid Systems Design Consultant for a wellness device start-up company.

In addition to her role as Administrative Assistant at PEAC, Megan also currently holds a position with the University of Alberta as a Research Assistant. Her research, alongside a registered physiotherapist and doctor at the university, focuses on retrospective studies of concussion recovery timeframes at a clinical setting.

Megan assists both branches and all committees of the PEAC and OTA & PTA EAP. She helps keep the corporation running smoothly through meticulous attention to detail and logistical planning of all aspects of business. Megan joined PEAC in the spring of 2021.
